West Ham reportedly looking into move for former Chelsea hitman Diego Costa
West Ham have turned their attention to former Chelsea hitman Diego Costa in their summer striking search,
They that the Hammers are looking into the possibility of bringing the man who won the Premier League twice – in 2015 and 2017 – back to English football.
The says that the Hammers are yet to put in a bid, but their interest looks more concrete than the recent links with Everton and Wolves.
Costa has 52 Premier League goals to his name () and used to bully English defences with his physical, no-nonsense style.

It’s unlikely that Costa would come cheap, he is 30 now and perhaps lacks the finesse Manuel Pellegrini wants in his style of play.
But there aren’t many strikers who took to English football as quickly as Costa in recent years and he still has plenty left to give.
The Hammers are in need of a top striker to push them towards the top six and account for the departures that have taken place in the attacking department this season.
Costa would likely get the fans very excited indeed and while this one looks a little while off yet, it would be box office and his attitude would endear him to the Irons faithful rapidly despite his Chelsea connections.
