West Ham’s striker curse is well-known at this point, with Gianluca Scamacca the latest player to fall victim of the unusual problem that has plagued the Irons for years.

Yet that shouldn’t put the Hammers off signing Broja, who is also reportedly wanted by Fulham as the Cobham academy product looks to make a big move away from Chelsea next year.

Indeed, with West Ham now a regular in Europe and set for an exciting new era post-David Moyes, Broja could be a marquee signing for the east London side in 2024.

Moreover, the striker himself could be sold on a move to West Ham, a path that the likes of Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri have enjoyed since leaving Chelsea.
