West Ham now closing in on second January signing alongside Kalvin Phillips

West Ham are reportedly now in advanced talks with FC Nordsjaelland over the signing of 19-year-old attacker Ibrahim Osman.

The Irons have been busy in recent days, with West Ham reportedly set to complete the loan signing of Kalvin Phillips having beaten the likes of Newcastle United to the midfielder’s signature.

And it appears that West Ham aren’t stopping at Phillips, with the Hammers now moving quickly to capture the signing of Osman, one of the most exciting teenagers in all of Scandinavia.

, talks are advancing between West Ham and Nordsjaelland for Osman, with the east London side likely to pay a transfer fee in the region of £15m.

A product of the famous Right to Dream Academy, the Ghanian youngster has drawn obvious comparisons to current West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, who tread the same path as Osman.

Indeed, the Hammers have made a wise decision in pursuing a deal for Osman, and all signs now point towards West Ham pulling off another impressive January signing this month.

With West Ham securing a deal for Phillips on loan, it already feels like David Moyes’ side have pulled off one of the best transfers of the January window in the England international.

However, also recruiting Osman is nothing short of smart from the Hammers, who are now seemingly close to adding one of Europe’s most interesting prospects to their ranks in the coming days.

Explosive, dynamic and raw, there’s a lot to like about in Osman’s game, which in a few years with some development could see the winger become one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League.

And West Ham need to ensure that they don’t let this transfer go to waste, with the Irons guilty on more than one occasion of squandering the potential of promising players.
