West Ham new boy Sebastien Haller comments on £45 million fee
West Ham United striker Sebastien Haller has defiantly stated he isn’t fazed by his £45 million transfer fee.
The French striker completed his move to the Hammers last week from Eintracht Frankfurt (), and has become the club’s new record signing.
The club moved for Haller after missing out on Maxi Gomez, who joined La Liga side Valencia.

Having plundered 20 goals in all competitions in 2019/20, big things are expected of the 25-year-old – but he isn’t feeling the pressure.
Speaking to L’Equipe about the club’s outlay on him, Haller said (): “I do not think it is a big transfer from my side and all this is part of the game
“It moves me in the sense that it is a strong gesture on the part of the club. It means a lot of things. It is a very beautiful mark of confidence. This shows that the leaders really wanted me.”
TBR’s view
West Ham fans will be delighted to hear Haller speaking with such assurance, but of course he now needs to show what he’s about on the pitch.

The star is arriving with a big reputation following his dazzling season alongside Luka Jovic at Eintracht, and Irons supporters want to see him produce similar form for their club.
Haller has all the attributes to be a success in the Premier League, and he’ll be quickly looking to repay the club’s show of faith in him
