West Ham linked Tammy Abraham impressed Stuart Pearce in 2017
Tammy Abraham has emerged as a potential summer signing for West Ham from Chelsea this summer. have suggested the Hammers want the out of favour Blues star and Stuart Pearce is a big fan.
Back in 2017, the West Ham assistant manager was working on Sky Sports as Abraham starred during an England under-21 game against Slovakia.
The ex-Three Lions left-back was very complimentary of the talisman and praised one attribute in particular.

“I’ve got to say, Abraham was very good.
“He’s been up there on his own, he’s not got his goal over the two games I tell what he hasn’t half worked hard for the side.”
His work rate has always been a pretty decent attribute and he could complement the current Hammers squad nicely.
West Ham will be in the market for a new striker this summer. The club allowed Sebastien Haller to leave during January with Ajax paying for his services.
That leaves Michail Antonio as the club’s only striker at the moment and reinforcements will be sought during the summer months.
Abraham would have to be seen as a bit of a coup for West Ham if they can add him to their ranks during the summer.
Right now it looks as though the Hammers are cruising towards European qualification and the 23-year-old would add the relevant experience.
The striker has scored 30 goals for the Blues in 80 appearances, including 12 this season.

Abraham has scored goals during loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea and Aston Villa and there is still time for him to develop.
Pearce has raved about the youngster in the past and he could thrive playing week in and week out at the London Stadium.
