West Ham fans want Sam Allardyce back after Tottenham defeat
David Moyes looked bereft of ideas as West Ham United suffered a second successive 2-0 defeat since the return of football, as Tottenham Hotspur earned all three points – and Hammers fans want a former manager in the dugout.
Following Son Heung-min’s own goal, Tomas Soucek inadvertently put the ball into the back of his own net and with the Hammers chasing an equaliser, Harry Kane notched his first goal of 2020 for Tottenham.
The defeat sees West Ham hanging perilously close above the Premier League drop zone, with the Hammers only above 18th-placed Bournemouth on goal difference. The Cherries have a game in hand.

Since his return to the London Stadium as manager, former Everton, Sunderland and Manchester United boss Moyes has won just two of his 11 games in charge. His record is worse than that of Manuel Pellegrini’s this season.
Sam Allardyce was in charge of the Hammers for four years between 2011 and 2015, getting the east Londoners back into the Premier League during that era. The former England boss has been without a job since his Everton exit.
West Ham fans reacted to a second successive 2-0 defeat since the return of play after Saturday’s loss to Wolves, and many want the return of Allardyce as Moyes’ replacement.
Honestly think they should call on Big Sam.
