West Ham fans tear Pablo Fornals to shreds for performance

West Ham fans slipped to a disappointing 2-0 away defeat against Everton on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter took out their anger on Pablo Fornals.

Manuel Pellegrini’s team slipped to a loss in the Premier League fixture and have now lost back-to-back matches.

The Hammers were unable to get anywhere near their best at Goodison Park and deserved the defeat.

Bernard scored the first with an excellent individual goal, but goalkeeper Roberto should be disappointed that the ball squeezed under him from a tight angle.

West Ham tried to get back into the contest and failed, before Gylfi Sigurdsson curled in a late second to wrap up the game.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media singled out Fornals for major criticism and don’t believe he made a good enough impact.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder since his move to the London Stadium in the summer and it was another match that passed him by for the Irons.

He was unable to offer much of an attacking threat from out wide and din’t enjoy much better luck from a central position, with a scuffed shot that he put wide the highlight for him.
