West Ham fans react to Sebastien Haller’s performance in Aston Villa draw
West Ham United supporters have praised Sebastien Haller, after he impressed in a 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
David Moyes’ side have gone fifth in the Premier League table with the victory.

The Hammers went ahead very early on in the game through Angelo Ogbonna, who rose highest from a Jarrod Bowen corner to hand the hosts the initiative.
Villa hit back through their captain Jack Grealish, whose strike from the edge of the box took a nick off Ogbonna on its way to finding the far corner.
Moyes threw on Haller and Said Benrahma for Arthur Masuaku and Michail Antonio at half-time, and the decision was instantly vindicated with the Algerian providing a perfect cross for Bowen to head home.

Despite applying plenty of pressure in the second half, Villa could not find an equaliser, with Ollie Watkins missing a penalty after a shirt pull in the box by Declan Rice.
The striker then scored in injury time but VAR found him to be a fraction offside.
Haller was perhaps unfortunate not to start the game, but did well when he came on at the break.
The Frenchman didn’t see a huge amount of the ball, but worked very hard and did show some brilliant link-up play at times, bringing the likes of Bowen and Benrahma into play.
On social media, fans made sure to praise the star for his contributions:
I say it as I see it & Haller has been brilliant since coming on

Haller has been probing his worth today, he’s getting stuck in and showing Moyes why he should be starting.

Everything Haller has done been class… Fornals better centrally & drifting out to the right with Bowen drifting in.
Absolute myth this team can’t play without Antonio.
How unfit he was shows it was a very poor decision to start him. Ease him back in

That’s one of Haller’s best games of his West Ham career.

Benrahma and Haller definitely changed the game for us, well done Moysey

Impressed with Haller that game, for himself busy, done a job Moyes wanted, stop the play when you can
