West Ham fans react to performance of Kurt Zouma in Manchester United defeat
West Ham were denied a share of the spoils against Manchester United after Jesse Lingard scored against the club he starred for on loan last season. Mark Noble also missed a late penalty for the Hammers.
One man who was impressive was Kurt Zouma. The Frenchman signed for the Hammers in the summer transfer window, joining from Chelsea.
He made his first Premier League outing for his new club and dealt exceptionally well with the threat of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Zouma headed or kicked everything clear and was willing to put his body on the line for the West Ham cause.
The 26-year-old cost almost £30 million and he should be a solid investment for West Ham. He has bags of time on his side and should continue improving.

Fans were delighted. He was fortunate not to give away a penalty with the score at 2-1 but largely he was impressive.
