West Ham fans react to being linked with Arsenal defender Rob Holding
West Ham are being linked with a possible loan move for Arsenal defender Rob Holding – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have reacted positively to the speculation.
The reports that West Ham are preparing an offer to sign the 24-year-old on a season-long loan.
It is understood that the Hammers will offer to pay £5million to sign the centre-back on loan this season and Arsenal may be open to him leaving the Emirates Stadium due to the competition in their squad.
Holding is a no-nonsense defender that started in Arsenal’s opening day victory against Fulham, but it’s unclear on if he will be apart of Mikel Arteta’s best XI when all of his centre-backs are available to him.
The Englishman hasn’t been a nailed-on starter under Spanish boss Arteta and West Ham could be about to try lure him to the London Stadium for a season.
He’s a ball-playing centre-back that needs better luck with injuries, but on his day he’s a top Premier League performer that can read the game well and play out from defence.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are confident that the Arsenal centre-back would be a good fit with them and are keen for the deal to be completed this summer.
Here are some Hammers supporters discussing Holding:
I’d take him tbf he was quality the other day

I’d take that

Good deal. Decent player. Obviously being priced out a deal for the Burnley defender so need to do something ASAP. Get it done!

That’s more realistic, over the top loan fee for injury prone player. But I’d have him

Must say I’d be fairly pleased if we brought in Rob Holding shame it’s a loan however but still he’ll improve our backline.

BETTER BE REAL !!
