West Ham fans react on Twitter to Grady Diangana reports

A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to express their dismay amid reports that the Hammers have accepted a bid for Grady Diangana.

Diangana looked set to play an important role for David Moyes’s men this coming season. He had previously showed flashes of his potential for the first-team.

And his stock seemed to rise considerably last season as he spent the campaign on loan at West Bromwich Albion. He scored eight goals and contributed six assists for Slaven Bilic’s men.

Unsurprisingly, West Brom were keen to keep Diangana. And it appears that the Baggies may be close to ensuring that the 22-year-old stays.

that West Ham have accepted a £12 million bid for the wide-man. It is noted that the fee could rise to £18 million with add-ons.

But it is safe to say that few West Ham fans believe that it is a good piece of business. It does appear to be incredibly difficult to find a supporter who backs the club’s decision to accept West Brom’s bid.

‘They’re probably laughing their heads off’

The reported fee has left plenty of supporters infuriated. Many are adamant that the offer should have been rejected. And if West Ham were willing to sell Diangana, they should have held out for considerably more.

The board certainly appear to have put themselves under pressure ahead of the final month of the transfer window. They need to pull something special out of the bag.
