West Ham fans react on Twitter to Arthur Masuaku’s display

A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Arthur Masuaku’s performance in the Hammers’ narrow defeat on Saturday.

David Moyes needed his side to produce a performance after their miserable start to the Premier League campaign.

Unfortunately the game ended in defeat for the Irons. But there were certainly some positive signs from the visitors as Arsenal secured a 2-1 win.

And Masuaku is one of those to have left the fans feeling slightly more optimistic than they had been after last weekend.

The 26-year-old was deployed in a wing-back role. And many thought that that position suited him a lot more than being a more disciplined full-back.

In fact, many have expressed some frustration towards Moyes for taking him off before the full-time whistle. If anyone was going to make something happen, Masuaku was certainly a real contender.

And plenty of fans have heaped praised on the wide-man. He has come in for a fair amount of criticism in recent times.

But one supporter even suggested that Saturday’s game saw Masuaku’s best performance for the Hammers. It was certainly an incredibly encouraging sign that West Ham needed.
