West Ham fans react on Twitter as Andriy Yarmolenko scores for Ukraine
West Ham United fans haven’t had a deal to shout about during the transfer window, but Andriy Yarmolenko at least put a smile on their faces last night.
The Ukraine talisman scored the opening goals in is nations curtain-raising Nationa League fixture against Switzerland.
His goal was cancelled out by Haris Seferovic but Manchester City ace Oleksandr Zinchenko was on hand to ensure a good victory.
The 30-year-old has struggled badly with injuries since arriving at West Ham for £17.5 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2018 .

In 33 outings for the club, he has scored seven times and registered two assists, although it has been a constant battle to stay fit.
If the experienced frontman can avoid injuries then he could prove a decent player for David Moyes, who largely used him from the bench after the restart.
Tomas Soucek’s permanent transfer is the only signing made by the Hammers so far this summer and supporters are growing impatient.
Last night did at least give supporters something to shout about and many hope that Yarmolenko could be given a stronger run in the team this season.
Here is a selection of Tweets from West Ham fans as Yarmolenko netted for Ukraine last night.
