West Ham fans react as reports link Ronaldo Vieira with London Stadium move

West Ham United fans have been reacting to reports the club are interested in making a move for Sampdoria midfielder Ronaldo Vieira.

, the Hammers are keen to bolster their midfielder options and the 21-year-old apparently fits the bill.

The club have supposedly tabled a £12 million offer, but it was swiftly rejected.

Vieira has been in Serie A since the summer of 2018 after transferring from Leeds United.

The youngster, who has represented the England U20s and U21s, has been an ever-present for Sampdoria so far in 2019/20, making 20 appearances in all competitions.

Sampdoria are attempting to navigate their way away from the relegation zone, and are determined to keep hold of Vieira amid the interest from the Hammers.

At the moment David Moyes is a little light on central midfield options, with Declan Rice and Mark Noble playing the bulk of the games.

There are, and have always been question marks over Carlos Sanchez’s quality, and Jack Wilshere remains sidelined.

Everytime I’ve seen him he looks way out of his depth and he’s struggled breaking up play. He’s a good dribbler/ ball carrier though so may benefit playing next to Rice who can break up for him.
