West Ham fans react as report links Joao Mario with London Stadium return
West Ham United have been linked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario.
, the Hammers are one of several clubs casting an eye over the Portugal international, who is not in the future plans of Antonio Conte.
Mario spent last term out on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, making 22 appearances in all competitions.

Before that, he spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at the London Stadium under the management of David Moyes.
He made 14 appearances for the club, scoring twice and making one assist.
The 27-year-old made a decent impression for the Irons, and one has to wonder if he would have sealed a permanent move had the club stuck with Moyes rather than hiring Manuel Pellegrini.
Some West Ham fans have been discussing the idea of Mario – whom Inter value at around £12 million according to O Jogo – coming back to West Ham, with the consensus seemingly quite mixed.

Some are open to seeing him return on loan, while others are not sure he showed enough the first time around to warrant the club moving to bring him back:
Nah you’re alright.

No. Too slow to be on the wing and in attacking midfield we have Fornals and Lanzini, even Anderson can play there.
