West Ham fans react as Crystal Palace complete Joachim Andersen deal
Crystal Palace’s excellent work in the transfer window continues after they announced the signing of Danish defender Joachim Andersen. The centre-back caught the eye with some excellent performances for Fulham on loan last season. West Ham fans are not happy, as Palace land Andersen.
Andersen, 25, clocked up 31 appearances while on loan at Fulham last season and such was the impression he made – Scott Parker made him captain. Despite relegation, he was one of a number of Fulham players to win pass marks – as was Alphonse Areola, another linked with West Ham.

What have West Ham fans said about Palace signing Andersen?
Palace are enjoying an exciting window under Patrick Vieira. They have got themselves Marc Guehi from Chelsea and Michael Olise from Reading for less than £30million. Now, Anderson has swapped Lyon for Palace – for just £17million . Of that £17million, £14.9million is up front.
West Ham fans are growing frustrated. The club are yet to make any inroads into the transfer window and a permanent deal for Craig Dawson – which was struck a while back – is their only work so far. That is, despite a Europa League campaign on the horizon – and numerous players leaving.
Jesse Lingard, Fabian Balbuena and Felipe Anderson have all left. West Ham need signings, and fans are frustrated at Palace getting Andersen.
