West Ham fans react as club are linked with move for Nahitan Nandez
West Ham United fans have been reacting to reports the club have made an offer for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez.
, the Irons have lodged a loan offer to the Italian outfit for the 24-year-old, with an obligation-t0-buy for around £34 million.
Nandez only joined Cagliari last summer from Boca Juniors for around half of what West Ham are supposedly offering.

The defensive-minded central midfielder has made 23 appearances so far this season, scoring one goal and making four assists.
The Hammers are under pressure to add to their squad, with time now fast running out until the transfer window closes.
David Moyes has limited options in central midfield, with the team heavily reliant on Declan Rice and Mark Noble in the engine room.

Veteran Carlos Sanchez just isn’t good enough, Jack Wilshere is still injured and Manuel Lanzini has only just come back but is more of a number 10.
Undoubtedly there is need for fresh impetus, with the club under serious threat from relegation.
Uruguay international Nandez caught the eye at the 2018 World Cup for his country, and could now wind up in English football if West Ham can seal a deal.
West Ham fans react
Some West Ham supporters gave positive reactions to the links to Nandez, but there were some also fairly cynical about any chance of a move happening:
Perfect replacement for Noble imo. Heart, grit, character, and can play. I miss him massively at Boca

this guy is big time, first target in a while I’ve been impressed with

Nahitan Nandez is a top quality midfielder and would definitely improve the quality of West Ham’s midfield options. However, the links between Nandez and West Ham are merely PR – we wouldn’t spend significant money on a Championship level player, let alone an International player

absolutel baller, youngsters

Very good player so there’s absolutely no chance of it happening
