West Ham fans not pleased with reported interest in Marouane Fellaini
West Ham reportedly have an interest in Shandong Luneng midfielder Marouane Fellaini – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are not pleased with the speculation.
, West Ham are keen on trying to sign the Belgian from Chinese side Shandong Luneng.
The report details that Hammers manager David Moyes wants to try sign him, as he previously worked with him at both Everton and Manchester United.
He is currently on a £200,000-a-week contract in China, but that will be reduced to £50,000-a-week when his deal expires in two-and-a-half years.
Fellaini has been out of English football for a year now, but spent most of his professional career in the Premier League and started out as a promising talent at Everton.
He’s a real powerhouse that at times was used further forward to exploit his size and presence, but developed into a central midfielder that breaks up play.
There were certainly ups and down during his following spell at Old Trafford with United, but once again he popped up with some decent goals and is a decent player without being pleasing on the eye.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are angry with links to Fellaini and feel that adding him would be a backwards step.
There is a real lack of quality central midfielders in the Hammers squad and the Belgian is a favourite of Moyes, but he does turn 33 this year.
