West Ham fans impressed by Sebastien Haller display against Southampton
Sebastien Haller completed 90 minutes in the victory over Southampton on Saturday afternoon – and some West Ham fans on Twitter hailed him for his performance.
The Hammers have climbed from 18th to 16th in the Premier League table following an impressive 3-1 home win against Southampton.
David Moyes’ side have received a boost to their survival hopes and they travel to Arsenal next weekend in search of more points.
Jarrod Bowen and Haller scored in the first-half for West Ham, in-between a Southampton goal from Michael Obafemi.
But Michail Antonio’s early strike in the second-half allowed the hosts to pull clear and they have now ended a run of seven league games without a win.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media gave immense credit to Haller for his efforts against Southampton.
The 25-year-old showed great awareness for his goal, as he beat goalkeeper Alex McCarthy in the air with his header and reacted quickest to tap in from a tight angle on the stretch.
He’s now scored seven goals in 28 games across all competitions this season and looked much more threatening leading the line in an attacking system.
The forward cost a mammoth £45million () to sign from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer and has shown in patches that he’s a real talent.
Here are some West Ham fans on Haller:
Massive win.
Bowen brilliant. Haller miles better with runners off him. Shock. Three big points. Now we must push on from this. ⚒— David Bowden (@Bowdenwhu)
Jarrod will take the headlines but best game I’ve seen from Haller. Immense and great tenacity for goal. Who knew having someone up with him would help?

Credit where it’s due, Sebastien Haller was much much better today, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it was in a game where he had players like Antonio and Bowen buzzing around him to help him out. More of the same please, Moyesey.

Haller won’t get the credit it warrants, but that effort was solid & the final touch was tough.
