West Ham fans discuss Dele Alli transfer reports on Twitter
A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that the Hammers are monitoring the situation concerning Dele Alli at Tottenham Hotspur.
Dele received a chance to prove a point on Sunday. The 25-year-old was handed his first Premier League start under Antonio Conte as Spurs played out a superb 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

Conte suggested that he was happy with Dele’s performance in the game. But there still appears to be a question mark hanging over the midfielder’s future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He has previously started brightly under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espírito Santo. So it remains to be seen if Conte does indeed have plans for the England international.

But if he decides that he is willing to let him go, West Ham may perhaps make their move. towards the end of last week that the Irons are monitoring the situation, while Newcastle United are also keen.
It is a surprise to see West Ham linked with a move for a Spurs player given the animosity between the two sides. There is also a chance that the pair will find themselves in the race for the top four come the business end of the campaign.
It would be interesting to see what the reaction would be had West Ham not signed Jesse Lingard last January. That move proved to be a masterstroke.
‘Moyes would turn the boy into a quality player’: West Ham fans react to Dele Alli reports
But actually, the fans on Twitter look to be quite divided. Those who do not want Dele anywhere near the London Stadium probably edge the debate. However, there are more West Ham supporters backing a move than you would perhaps expect.
With that in mind, here is what some of the West Ham fans make of the reports claiming they are interested in Dele Alli…
I take him I think David is the right man for this lad and I think he will get the best out of him

Absolutely not. Has all the talent but has now had 3 managers who’ve asked him to work for the team not when it suits him and he’s downed tools or isn’t interested.

Interesting reading all the hate. I think Moyes would turn the boy into a quality player for us the ability is there
