West Ham eyeing 50-year-old Champions League winner as possible David Moyes replacement
West Ham United have been linked with a number of managers in recent days amid the club’s recent downturn in form.
The Hammers are yet to win in 2024 and fell to a disastrous 6-0 home defeat against Arsenal last time out.
With David Moyes‘ contract expiring at the end of the season, West Ham will be pretty flexible with regards to bringing in a potential replacement.
According to , the Hammers have now set their sights on one of the most high-profile managers in the game at present.
The report claims West Ham would consider appointing Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel if he loses his job in Bavaria.
The Hammers’ ambition will be high if they do change manager this year and Tuchel is already admired within the hierarchy, added the report.

Tuchel is a manager of the highest calibre, with an impressive 11 major trophies to his name, including the 2020-21 Champions League.
The 50-year-old lifted the trophy just months after coming on board at Chelsea, also helping them from ninth to fourth in the Premier League table and then going on to win the UEFA Supercup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Other trophies Tuchel has lifted include last year’s Bundesliga title with Bayern, two Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain, a German Cup with Borussia Dortmund, and the World’s Best Club coach gong while at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel has experience at the highest level, with some of the clubs with the highest expectations in the world. He certainly looks like a manager who could help bring West Ham to the next level, perhaps top four and exciting cup runs.
