West Ham could now sign £100,000-a-week Arsenal player for as little as £15m
West Ham could now add to the signings of Max Kilman, Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham by bringing an Arsenal player to east London.
Julen Lopetegui is clearly keen to build on West Ham’s ninth place finish in the Premier League last season and get the Hammers back playing European football, with the Spaniard overseeing some exciting business alongside Tim Steidten – Director of Football at the London Stadium.
So, who could West Ham sign from Arsenal? Let’s take a look…
West Ham want to sign Reiss Nelson from Arsenal
Sam Dean of the Telegraph has now claimed that West Ham want to sign Arsenal No.24 Reiss Nelson this summer.
The respected journalist adds that the winger could be available for just £15m.
Arsenal valued Nelson at £30m a few months ago, although that figure now appears to have dropped with the 24-year-old keen to leave the Emirates Stadium.
The man from Elephant and Castle made just one Premier League start last season, which surely irked him having only just signed a new four-year contract in July 2023, presumably after Mikel Arteta gave him assurances that he would play more often.

Nelson seems like he is tired of waiting for chances under the Spaniard, a situation West Ham could now take advantage of.
Tim Steidten could secure two fantastic English talents
Nelson is not the only exciting English talent Steidten could bring to West Ham this summer.
TBR Football understand that the Irons are also in talks with Manchester United over a deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with Erik ten Hag open to selling the Londoner this summer.
A story from talkSPORT adds that Manchester United want around £15m for the right-back.

Therefore, West Ham may end up signing both Nelson and Wan-Bissaka for roughly £30m combined, a double deal which could potentially prove to be excellent value for money, especially as the latter alone cost Manchester United £50m not too long ago.
