West Ham can get one over Everton by signing Abdoulaye Doucoure

West Ham may make a move for a midfielder this January, with the man that Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly after being Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure.

With Jack Wilshere having been sidelined for most of the campaign since joining in the summer, Doucoure’s addition would add depth and could provide an alternative to first choice duo Mark Noble and Declan Rice in the middle of the park.

Pellegrini is keen to add competition for places and would surely welcome being able to deal a blow to rivals Everton and Marco Silva by sealing one of the Toffees long-term transfer targets.
