West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini says Sebastien Haller is ‘a complete player’
West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has lauded Sebastien Haller after the striker scored his third of the season against Norwich City.
The Hammers recorded their second straight Premier League victory with a 2-0 win over the Canaries, with Frenchman Haller adding to the brace he scored against Watford.
The £45 million summer signing from Eintracht Frankfurt () is quickly becoming a crowd favourite at the London Stadium, and Pellegrini gave a glowing report of his main man after the game.
: “Haller is a complete player because he is not just in the box. He scores a lot of goals, but he works a lot for the team. He holds the ball from our long goal kicks, he works hard, he prepares the moments for other players.
“We are seeing a complete player who will continue improving with every game.”
West Ham have now won their last three games in all competitions, and Haller looks set to play a key role for the Irons this season.
TBR’s view
West Ham fans should be very excited by Haller.
So far, he is living up to the hype and he will likely only get better the longer he spends in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has proven in the first few games, and at Eintracht last season, that he really is a brilliant all-round footballer.
He could well be the answer to the West Ham faithful’s prayers. The club have struggled for years to sign a top striker – it’s early days of course, but they might just be on to a winner with Haller.
