West Ham battling three other Premier League clubs to sign ‘remarkable’ forward
West Ham have reportedly been joined by a trio of top-flight English clubs in the race to sign an in-demand Serie A forward.
The Irons have been quietly efficient in the summer transfer window this year, with West Ham already securing deals for Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme, with Jean-Clair Todibo also wanted by the east London side.
With a defender signed and another one potentially coming in, a shift towards attacking signings could be a smart idea for the Hammers, who heading into the new season will want added firepower if they’re to qualify for Europe.
Yet one rumoured West Ham target has now attracted interest from other Premier League sides.

Premier League trio join West Ham in race to sign Alexis Saelemaekers
According to , West Ham have been joined by Fulham, Leicester City and Nottingham Forest in the battle for Alexis Saelemaekers, who AC Milan have put up for sale this summer.
Praised as a forward, the Belgian international last season played a key role for Thiago Motta’s Bologna in their incredible Serie A campaign which saw the Italian side qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
And this summer could see Saelemaekers make the move to the Premier League, with four teams now interested in signing the former R.S.C. Anderlecht star, much to West Ham’s dismay.
Indeed, Saelemaekers could have been an ideal signing for the Hammers given their need for a forward this summer, and with Premier League rivals like Fulham and Forest joining the race, things could get complicated for West Ham.

Irons need to ensure they win the race to sign Saelemaekers
Saelemaekers showed at Bologna last season that he has the potential to become a top forward in one of Europe’s best leagues, and for West Ham, they need to ensure that they’re the side that win the race for the Belgian.
With Milan keen on selling Saelemaekers this summer, a move to east London could be beneficial for all parties, with West Ham in need of a player like the 25-year-old, who could be excellent in the front-line.
However, West Ham need to be quick if they’re to land Saelemaekers, with three Premier League rivals now in the race for the Milan outcast this summer.
