West Ham are considering a move to sign Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka – journalist

Football journalist Dean Jones has claimed that West Ham United are considering a move to sign Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The right-back, who joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace in a £50 million deal back in 2019 (), has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford. He has just played four minutes of football all season, and it’s almost certain he’ll be on the move soon.

Wan-Bissaka was once viewed as one of the best right-backs in the country. He was decent going forward and very, very good with his defending, especially in 1v1 situations.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even called him “one of the best one-against-one defensive full-backs in the world.” ()

Sadly, the 25-year-old has no place at Old Trafford. Erik Ten Hag clearly doesn’t fancy him, and it’s only a matter of time before he finds a new club to kickstart his career again.

Jones has claimed that West Ham are interested.

The journalist told : “They’re (Manchester United) trying to find a way to get Wan-Bissaka out.

“West Ham are considering him, so could they look at him? I think there are various potential homes for him and then we’ll be able to have a better idea about how Manchester United replace him.”

A move for Wan Bissaka makes a lot of sense for West Ham, especially with Vladimir Coufal apparently heading towards the exit door.

The Czech international became a star for the Hammers after he arrived from Slavia Prague two years ago. However, he has started just one game since the start of October, and it has been suggested that he could leave.

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Seth told earlier this month it looks like David Moyes doesn’t really fancy Coufal anymore, which could open the door for an exit soon.

If that happens, there’ll be a spot up for grabs, and Wan-Bissaka would be an excellent signing.
