West Ham and Nottingham Forest consider late moves to sign former Liverpool player who Jurgen Klopp loves

TBR Football understands that West Ham and Nottingham Forest are part of a host of Premier League clubs who are monitoring a former Liverpool ace.

Both West Ham and Nottingham Forest hꦐave been busy this summer with both top-flight clubs adding nine new signไings to their squad.

There are now just five days remaining until the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month but the Hammers and Forest are bo🌠th eyeing up a new midfield signing.

TBR Football understands a host of Premier League clubs are plotting to bring Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back to England.

West Ham, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Forest and Brentford are among a number of clubs interested in the former Liverpool midfielder.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s stance on joining West Ham or Nottingham Forest

Oxlade-Chamberlain spent six years at Arsenal and six years൲ at Liverpool before departing Anfield in 2023 to join Turkish side Besiktas.

Former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp that he loved working with Oxlade-Chamberlain and described him as “technically outsඣtanding” when he left the club last summer.

The 31-year-old midfielder sc꧟ored four goals in 31 appearances for Besiktas last season but could now be available this summer.

The financial situation at Besiktas – paired with the player’s desire to return to England – means a mov🦂e could now be on the car𓂃ds.

Dutch giants Ajax have also shown an interest in reuniting him with form🅺er teammate Jordan Henderson, while RB Salzburg – where his former Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders is the new boss – have also shown an interest.

West Ham making space for Oxlade-Chamberlain

It h🃏as been a hectic summer for the Hammers with several high-profile signings completed.

West Ham have shown an interest in Eddie Nketiah and Tammy Abraham as they eye a new striker, and they are prepared to release high-earner Danny In💫gs to fuel a deal.

The Hammers are ready to sell n🐬ine players this summer, including midfielders James Ward-Prowse and Tomas Soucek. Offload❀ing the duo could make space for Oxlade-Chamberlain’s arrival.
