West Brom fans react as club reportedly eye Liverpool ace
West Brom are reportedly looking to raid Liverpool for midfielder Harry Wilson, after the Wales international starred for Cardiff City last term. Liverpool are looking to raise funds, , and Wilson could go. West Brom are keen on Wilson, and Baggies fans have reacted.
Wilson, 24, has been in excellent form for Cardiff over the past 12 months while on loan. A surprise move, given he impressed at Bournemouth in the Premier League, Wilson dropped a league to join Cardiff. But it paid off, having a hand in 19 goals in 38 games – scoring seven and creating 12.
The Athletic claim that Liverpool want £15million for Wilson, but if a permanent exit cannot be engineered, another loan could happen. Plenty of clubs are after the Euro 2020 star including Swansea and Premier League side Brentford. Cardiff are also keen to bring him back for a second season.

Clearly, Wilson is a top player in the Championship. His form at Cardiff was excellent last season and under Frank Lampard at Derby County, he amassed an enormous 18 goals in 49 appearances – creating six more. He is a brilliant signing for any Championship team, and some in the top tier.
West Brom are likely to wave goodbye to a number of players, most notably Matheus Pereira and Wilson could be the ideal replacement. Valerian Ismael has already brought in Alex Mowatt on a free, and Matt Clarke on loan from Brighton. Now, West Brom fans want Wilson.
