‘We have got an update’… Sky Sports news have just given news about Said Benrahma live on air
Sky Sports have now been sharing their latest update on the possibility of Said Benrahma leaving West Ham United today.
Benrahma has been in talks with Lyon for some days now, with David Moyes seemingly happy for him to depart.
It’s also believed that Pablo Fornals could be on his way back to La Liga today, it’s clearly going to be a busy one in East London.
That being said, fans will hope that those possible departures could result in either Jota or Ibrahim Osman making a late move – otherwise the squad may look a little short.
Sky Sports provide update on Said Benrahma possibly leaving West Ham today
Tom White shared the update live on , and said Lyon were now waiting on Benrahma’s final decision.
White said: “We have got an update on Said Benrahma because we are told Lyon are waiting on Benrahma to make his final decision over whether he wants to join them from West Ham.
“Talks are ongoing over personal terms. The clubs have agreed a loan deal with an obligation to buy. The total deal is worth over £15 million. Remember the French transfer window closes an hour earlier than us, 10pm.”
Of course, it still doesn’t feel impossible that a surprise target could emerge for West Ham and Moyes’ today.
This Sky Sports update suggests a deal could now be close, but it seems The Hammers are having little luck with either Jota or Osman.
That being said, one journalist has been discussing the chances of Maxwel Cornet also leaving today.
