Multiple reports have emerged claiming Gabriel Heinze is set to join Mikel Arteta’s coaching staff at Arsenal.
Gunners fans have now had their say on the reported decision to bring the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal fans were pleased for the most part with the purported decision to hire Heinze, citing his grit, passion and technical prowess as key traits.
“We are cooking,” one fan said on X. “This season I assure you if we don’t win something, we shall be the unluckiest club in football history.”
Another fan said: “This move has been talked about for ages, and now it’s really happening.
“Tbh, thought he’d be managing in Europe by now, but this feels like a solid move for both sides.
“Heinze’s got that grit and fire, could be a perfect fit in the Arsenal setup. Let’s see what he brings to the table!”
The praise kept coming, with one fan saying: “Gabriel Heinze joining Arteta’s staff is a bold move.
“His defensive insight and passion will add grit to Arsenal. Big shoes to fill after Cuesta.”
Another fan said: “Honestly, If Heinze can help tighten the back line and improve Arsenal’s shape, he won’t even need to prove himself, the results will speak.”

Heinze is reported to be joining the Arsenal squad on their warm-weather trip to Spain next week ahead of their pre-season two-week tour of Asia.

What Mikel Arteta has already said about Gabriel Heinze
Arteta knows Heinze well, with the two having been teammates at Paris Saint-Germain during the 2001-02 campaign.
At the start of this season, Arteta spoke about his time at PSG, and he sung Heinze’s praises.
“The other inspirations were (Mauricio) Pochettino and Heinze,” Arteta said, as per The Athletic.
“Those two were next to me all the time, behind me, and they were guiding me in everything I had to do in my professional life, how I had to understand the game and they were inspirational to me.”
