Villa can reportedly get El Ghazi for £5m – which they should do even without promotion
Aston Villa have an option to sign loanee Anwar El Ghazi this summer,
They that the Dutch international winger is thought to be available for around £5 million this summer, with Villa having a clause to do exactly that as part of their loan agreement with Lille.
The wideman has of course become a key part of the Villa side that has rampaged into the Championship play-off final and Dean Smith will hope to be embarking on a summer as a Premier League manager.
But even if he’s not, £5 million for a player who has been so creative during the record-breaking winning run that’s put Villa within 90 minutes of Wembley looks like a deal that’s too good to turn down.

Obviously, Villa will have to cut their cloth accordingly if they’re not promoted, but £5 million looks affordable for the Dutchman, and he has proved himself a hit with the supporters after a tricky start under Steve Bruce.
Flair and quality are such an important part of what Smith wants to do as Villa boss and he’ll no doubt be looking to keep as many pieces of the puzzle together should the Villans not get the result they want on Monday.
Obviously, if Villa are a Premier League club next season, £5 million becomes pocket change.
