Viktor Gyokeres shares key admission over his future after being linked with Arsenal
With both Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus already at the club, Arsenal’s fan base seem a bit divided on whether the club should sign a new striker this summer.
Mikel Arteta is expected to start Havertz against Villa once agಌain on Saturday evening, a centre-forwar♚d who started this season as he finished last.
Although he began life in north London as a number eight, intended to replace Granit Xhaka, Havertz has flourished in 🉐a false nine role.
And instead, Mikel Merino will now replace Xhaka at Arsenal, a🐭n astute signing which Arteta has been chasing ꩵfor a long time.
🔴Of co𓂃urse, Havertz does need support up top – he can’t do it all alone.
And fortunately Arsenal do 🐻now have Gabriel Jesus fit andꦗ ready to go, a Brazilian who is determined to prove his worth.
Jesus is on a personal mission to win his starting place back, not deterred by any plans of Arsenal signing ♑a new striker.
But if Edu does have his eyes on a new goal-scorer before next week’s deadline, then he may be encouraged by Viktor Gyokeres’ recent words.
Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres leaves the door open for a Sporting CP exit
Arsenal have been following Gyokeres for s✅ome time nowไ, a 26-year-old with a remarkable goal-scoring record in Portugal.
Gyokeres scored a hat-trick on Friday evening – a reminder of his quality to all of t🌳he club’s i🦂nterested in his signature before deadline day.

And via journalist Fabrizio Roma﷽no, Gyokeres has now been speaking about his future, and the possibility of leaving Sporting CP.
And whilst Gyokeres declared that he was very content with life in Liಌsbon, he delive💃red something akin to the classic line of, ‘anything can happen in football’.
Gyokeres said: “You never know what happens. I feel very good at Sporting, ♕for sure; but in football there are things you don’t even know.
“I feel very good here, I’m 🅰very happy at Sporting and I don’t have any problem”.

Of course, those are words which will only excite clubs like Arsenal who are thought to be interested in the £67m-striker.
With Eddie Nketiah set to leave Arsenal and Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson potentially heading out of the door this🧜 month too, there is space for a new attacker at the Emirates.
And perhaps Arsenal could deliver a late shock in🍸 the transfer window, signalling🀅 their intent to win the Premier League.
