Video: What Son and Hojbjerg were doing in Tottenham training yesterday, after returning from World Cup
Son Heung-min and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are back on the training pitch with Tottenham after their World Cup eliminations.
Son rushed back from injury to play in the tournament, taking to the pitch in a facemask to protect the problem he picked up against Marseille.
He captained South Korea to the last 16 stage, knocking out Uruguay and Ghana, where they were ripped apart by Brazil 4-1.
Hojbjerg’s Denmark were many people’s dark horses after going to the semi-finals of Euro 2020 but were knocked out in the group stage by Australia.

Son and Hojbjerg back on the training pitch
Spurs posted a video on their official account of the pair back running on the training pitch yesterday, away from the rest of the team.
Antonio Conte places a huge emphasis on fitness and he will have planned out the returns of his players after their mid-season World Cup exploits.
Spurs face Brentford on Boxing Day in their first competitive game back since the 4-3 win over Leeds before the World Cup.
The South Korean media had reported that it is not clear whether Son would be fit to play in that game against Thomas Frank’s men.
That suggests he may be struggling still with the effects of his facial injury or perhaps just needs more time to recover from World Cup heartache.
Either way, Richarlison looks set to miss that Brentford game so Conte will likely need his other top three forwards to be fit.
