Video: Joe Rodon not happy with Tottenham’s Ben Davies after what he did during Wales team photo

Tottenham Hotspur teammates Joe Rodon and Ben Davies are set to take part in the World Cup in Qatar for Wales.

Antonio Conte has loaned central defender Rodon out to Rennes in Ligue 1, to get some regular first team football.

That should stand him in good stead for the tournament, which he would likely have gone into undercooked if he stayed at Spurs.

Davies is often used by Conte on the left-hand side of a back three, despite the summer loan arrival of Clement Lenglet from Barcelona.

He scored in the 4-3 win over Leeds before signing off to undertake his pre-tournament duties including the team photo.

Rodon not happy with Davies

Wales posted a video on their official account of Rodon keeping the whole squad waiting to take the photo, seemingly because he was taking a while doing his hair.

When he finally emerged, Davies took it upon himself to mess it up and Rodon did not look happy at all, despite the rest of the squad laughing.

Wales are known for their immense team spirit, which helped take them into the semi-finals of Euro 2016 as well as out of the groups at Euro 2020.

This is their first World Cup for 64 years, which guarantees this squad a spot in Welsh football history, no matter what happens next.

They are in a group with England, USA and Iran, which provides them with an opportunity to qualify for the knockout rounds of a tournament where Rodon and Davies will expect to be central defensive colleagues.
