The Swiss international often divides opinion at the Emirates but if꧋ there’s one thing everyone will agree on, it’s that his long-distance shooting is absolutely incredible.

Xhaka has scored 13𓆉 times for Arsenal so far and almost all of those goals have been stunners. He’s one player who’s a serious threat from distance and Leno, who faces him in trainin🍎g every day, knows how it feels to be at the end of those shots.

Bernd Leno: Granit Xhaka’s shots are impossible to catch

Asked if he would have saved Xhaka’s first-ever Arsenal goal against Hull City, Leno said, “Of course,” before bur♒sting into laughter.

“No, ▨I think you see it’s very difficult for the goalkeeper. The ball is moving, it goes towards the goalkeeper and then moves to the right. We all kn✤ow Granit’s shot is very, very powerful.”

Speaking about the Swiss international’s stunning free-kick against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in 2018, Leno said: “The other ones I’d save, but this one is a perfect goal. Top cཧorner, powerful.

“As a goalkeeper, you don’t expect that. His shot🍌s are very unpredictable and impossible to catch💮.”

If you’re a goalkeeper and you’re able to catch one of Xhaka’s fierce strikes, yo✅u deserve an award.

The Arsenal man’s shooting is not always accurate, but when he catches it right, it ends up in the back of the net more o🥀ften than not.

Xhaka is yet to score a go♏al this season but there’s a good chaꦛnce he’ll break his duck in the coming weeks.

Mikel Arteta has givenജ him the license to play a bit further forward than before, and that should help him have a few more pops at goal.
