Valencia fans chant for Tottenham loanee Bryan Gil to stay
Valencia fans are clearly hoping that Tottenham Hotspur are open to selling Bryan Gil permanently this summer, with a video showing many in the streets chanting that they want the forward to stay beyond his loan.
Gil has been an inspired signing for Los Che. He arrived off the back of a difficult time with Spurs where he failed to make one start in the Premier League.

There were glimpses of his quality. But it did appear that he was not necessarily suited to the demands of the Premier League. He has since spoken about working on his physicality following his return to La Liga.
And Valencia are very grateful that he was not physical enough for the Premier League, it seems. He has already been labelled their ‘most outstanding‘ player. And he has shone in several games.

Obviously, there is still some time left in this campaign. But clearly, many of the Valencia’s supporters want him to stick around beyond this season.
A video on Twitter shows the fans chanting for Gil to stay following their win in the Copa del Rey semi-final this week. It certainly highlights the impact he has had since his arrival from North London…

Tottenham must be wary of selling Bryan Gil permanently to Valencia
It will be very interesting to see what Tottenham do with Gil this summer. They may be tempted to cash in while his stock is so high. And that may prove to be the right decision given that he did struggle in the Premier League.
However, Tottenham parted with a hefty sum to sign the Spain international. So they should make it clear to Valencia that they will need to pay even more to sign Gil.
It is simply too soon to write him off in England. So Spurs should not look to cash-in for the first offer on the table. He clearly has the potential to achieve a lot more.
And if he is going to return to Spain permanently, Tottenham must make sure that they receive the funds to be able to replace him with a special player.
