‘Unreal today’: Leeds fans rave about Dan James against Watford

Leeds fans could finally celebrate a first win of the Premier League season as they saw off a plucky Watford side at Elland Road today, keeping a clean-sheet in the process.

The Whites had Diego Llorente to thank for the goal on 18 minutes and it proved enough for Marcelo Bielsa’s men to be well on their way to three points.

The win has been a long time coming for Leeds. A frustrating campaign thus far has seen them come close on occasions and throw points away when well positioned to win. But not today.

But while Llorente got the goal, it was the performance of Daniel James that caught the attention of a lot of onlooking Leeds fans. The former Manchester United winger delivered his best display in white yet, and was a constant threat.

James, along with Raphinha on the opposite side of the pitch, should prove invaluable to Leeds throughout the season. And supporters on Twitter were delighted to see the £25m man deliver today.
