‘Underrated signing’… BBC pundit says people don’t realise how good one Liverpool transfer has been

Liverpool had a fantastic summer transfer window.

The Reds rebuilt their midfield without spending tons, and theyไ look so much better for it, sitting at the top of💧 the Premier League after securing a Carabao Cup win.

The likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister have, rightly, been hailed as incredible 💃signings, but there is one signing at Anfield that is going slightly under the radar right now.

Indeed, Wataru Endo isn’t perhaps getting the credit he deserves for his performances since joining Liverpool, and speaking on the , Asmir Begovic has cꦺlaimed that the Japan international has been an underrated signing for the Reds.

Wataru Endo an underrated signing

Begovic shared his verdict on the midfielder.

“It’s the construct of the squad, and it’s such an underrated signing as a squad player, but ha🍸ving someone like Endo to come in who has experience, a lot of caps and has played a long time in Germany, you can just throw him in, they’ve always had the likes of Henderson and Milner where you can throw them in at any time and not be worried,” Begovic said.

Been brilliant

Endo has been utterly fantastic since joining ✃Liverpoo♋l.

In a summer where the Reds were quoted silly money for a number of different defensive midfield opꦗtions, Liverpool actually managed to find some value in Endo.

Make no mistake about it,💮 if Endo was a few years younger, he would be getting so much more praise and would be spoken about as a massive bargain, but due to the fact he’s the wrong side of 30, people don’t necessarily gi෴ve the Merseyside club the credit they deserve for this deal.
