‘Unbelievable’ player could now leave West Ham if Jota signs before the deadline

Said Benrahma could leave West Ham United if the club complete a move to sign Al Ittihad’s Jota before the deadline.

That’s according to The Daily Mail, with the outlet sharing the latest on West Ham’s plans for the remaining days of the transfer window.

The Hammers are currently eyeing a move to bring in a new forward player ahead of the deadline this week.

David Moyes’ men had been linked with a move for Nordsjælland winger Ibrahim Osman, with the player keen on a switch to the London Stadium. But agreeing on a fee with the Danish outfit is proving to be problematic, which has led to West Ham exploring a deal to sign Jota.

Indeed, it was claimed yesterday that West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Jota on a loan deal until the end of the season.

And should the east London club overcome the ‘tax issue’ which could prevent Jota from making the switch, Said Benrahma may head out the door.

claims that West Ham could allow Benrahma to leave if Jota joins on a loan deal this month.

It’s noted that Moyes’ men have switched their focus to the Portuguese star after talks with Nordsjaelland over Osman have stalled.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are exploring a deal to sign Maxwel Cornet on loan.

West Ham look set for a busy week ahead as they bid to bolster Moyes’ attacking options for the remainder of the campaign.

Benrahma has displayed glimpses of his quality during his time in east London and is an ‘’ player on his day.

But the 28-year-old has struggled for regular starts this term and is currently out of favour under Moyes.

While it would be a shame to see the Algeria international move on after failing to reach his full potential at West Ham, it may be a move that’s best for both parties.

The Hammers are keen to bring in a quality option off the left-hand side and moving Benrahma on may be necessary should they land Jota this week.
