‘Unbelievable’: Ben White hails player who reportedly rejected Arsenal this summer
Arsenal defender Ben White has waxed lyrical about Sergio Ramos, saying he’s an “unbelievable” and inspirational player.
The Gunners bolstered their defensive ranks this summer, signing White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, both of whom have done well.
Arsenal also signed Aaron Ramsdale, who didn’t take long to claim the first-choice goalkeeper’s spot from Bernd Leno.

The Gunners currently have the youngest defence in the top flight, but had things worked out differently, Mikel Arteta could now also have a veteran superstar to call upon.
According to , Arsenal were hoping to land Sergio Ramos, offering him a two-year contract worth £15million per season.
While the offer intrigued the 35-year-old’s entourage, Ramos rejected the opportunity due to the Gunners’ absence from the Champions League, claimed the report.
Ramos, who had left Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of 2020-21, ended up joining Paris Saint-Germain instead.
As one of the best defenders in the world, Ramos would’ve no doubt been an asset for Arsenal.

He clocked up 671 competitive appearances for Real Madrid and has won 180 caps for Spain.
Ramos’ silverware haul is incredible, having lifted the 2010 World Cup and two European Championships with Spain.
For Real, he has won four Champions Leagues and five La Liga titles, plus a host of other trophies.
Speaking to the Arsenal , White has listed Ramos as one of his favourite three players of all time.
“For me, in my position, I think Sergio Ramos is unbelievable,” White said.
“The goals he’s scored over the years and the standards that he’s kept throughout the years he’s been playing is unbelievable and something I’d like to achieve.”
