‘Unbelievable’ Barcelona player now publicly comes out and says he really likes Arsenal
Barcelona winger Raphinha has claimed that he really likes Arsenal.
The Gunners returned to being one of the best sides in the world last season thanks to Mikel Arteta. He has made them title challengers again, and that has made Arsenal a really attractive side to watch. Raphinha is a fan.

When Raphinha was still at Leeds United in the Premier League, Arsenal were heavily linked with a move to sign him.
The ‘‘ Brazilian had an amazing time in England. He was one of Leeds’ best players, and his performances caught the eye of a number of top clubs.
Barcelona won the race to sign him in the end, but Arsenal sporting director that he had a chat with Raphinha’s agent at the time, Deco, about a potential move.
No move materialised in the end, but the Brazilian, for whatever reason, seems to have a soft spot for Mikel Arteta‘s side.
In a quickfire interview with Adri Contreras on , the Barcelona winger was asked to name a team outside Spain that he likes.
Raphinha quickly replied: “The Arsenal!”
Arsenal should try to sign Raphinha again
When Arsenal wanted to sign Raphinha before he went to Barcelona, the Gunners viewed him as someone who could compete and push Bukayo Saka on the right wing.
It has been over 18 months since their pursuit of the Brazilian and they still haven’t signed a player in that role. That’s why Saka plays almost every single minute of every game.
Barcelona‘s financial problems are known to everyone, which means most of their players are available if the price is right.
It won’t be a bad idea at all for Arsenal to try their luck with Raphinha once again – a tempting offer this time could be successful.
