‘Unbelievable’ Arsenal star has just changed agents after claims Mikel Arteta wants to sell him
One Arsenal player has confirmed that he has signed with a new agency amid rumours that he could be sold this summer.
The Gunners haven’t been too active with respect to new🧜 signings in this window, but they have managed to push a few players out of the door.
Mohamed Elneny and Cedr꧃ic Soares were released at the end of their contracts in June, while Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavare♑s have both been moved on, initially on loan.
Arsenal are expected to part ways with𒉰 a few more players 🌳between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
One player who has been linked with a move away from the Emirate💫s has now hired new agents🎐.
Oleksandr Zinchenko confirms he has new agents amid Arsenal exit links
Arsenal signed Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
The Ukraine international became an instant fan favourite at the Emirat💃es Stadium. He even got his own song after just a few weeks at the club.
Zinchenko played a huge part in helping Arsenal become title contenders in the 2022/23 season, and his experience is st🦂ill key for all the younger players at the club.
However, the 27-year-old had a few injury issꦫues in the 2023/24 season and his defending came under a lot of criticism as well.
That has led to some uncertainty about his future, and reports have even claimed that Arsenalಌ boss Mikel Arteta has put Zinchenko on the ‘chopping blo💮ck’ this summer.
German giants Bayern Munich hav💙e been linked with a move to Zꦿinchenko, while reports claimed that Newcastle United are interested in Zinchenko as well.
Now, to add fuꦗel to the fire, the Arsenal num𒈔ber 35 has announced that he has changed agents.
“Proud to start this new 𒉰chapter with Unique Football Agency. Let’s get started,” he w🎀rote on Instagram.
Zinchenko’s Arsenal future depends on his teammate
Zinchenko is clearly not Arsenal’s first-choice left-backꦗ anymore.
The Ukrainian, b𝓰randed as ‘‘ by Kevin🥂 De Bruyne, fell behind Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu in the pecking order. Jurrien Timber could also be ahead of him.
Now, Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign R𒁃iccardo Calafiori, and the Italian, if he joins, will likely play at left-back as well.
That reduces the need for Zinchenko, but🤪 there is still a chance he will stay.
That’s if Kiwior, who is very s🌸imilar to Calafiori, ends up leaving the club. The Pole’s departure would open the door for Zinchenko to keep his place in the squad – albeit he will probably be the second choice.
⛦It will be interesting to🅘 see what will happen with Zinchenko in the coming weeks.
