‘Unbelievable’ Arsenal player asks Edu to drop his asking price and sell him immediately

Arsenal could allow quite a few players to leave their club in the final days of the transfer window.

The Gunners have a fantastic squad and they have strengthened it with the signings of David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori. Mikel Merino will be the next one to come in at Arsenal.

Emile Smith Rowe has been the only major sale so far in this window, but that is expected to change before Friday’s transfer deadline.

has shared an update on what’s set to happen in the next few days.

Eddie Nketiah has asked Arsenal to drop their asking price to sell him

Eddie Nketiah’s future has been up in the air since the summer transfer window opened.

The Englishman, , came through the ranks at the club’s academy and was always prolific at youth level. He was viewed as a striker with huge potential at the time.

However, since making it into the senior side, he hasn’t quite done enough to become the first name on the team sheet every week.

Nketiah looked like he was off to Nottingham Forest but that move collapsed.

Now, Crystal Palace have made a bid to sign Nketiah, and the striker has requested Arsenal to lower their asking price and let him go.

GMS claim that Arsenal wanted more than £40 million for Nketiah at the start of the window, but after the striker’s plea, Edu Gaspar and co have agreed to sell him to Palace for £30 million.

The Eagles are expected to wrap this deal up in the coming days.

Arsenal’s plan to replace Nketiah

Arsenal remain active on the transfer market in the final few days of the window.

Nketiah leaving the club would mean there’s one less attacker available at Arteta’s disposal, and that’s clearly an area they need to address.

David Ornstein revealed that Arsenal want to sign a new backup winger, someone who can provide cover for Bukayo Saka on the right wing.

Nico Williams and Ademola Lookman have both been linked with Arsenal, but it remains to be seen if the Gunners will spend big on either one of them this late in the window.
