Diaby joined Villa to much fanfare from Bayer Leverkusen last summer. He hit the ground running, with six goal c💙ontributions from his fᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚirst seven Premier League games.

However, the Frenchman has registered just one goal from his last 12 Premier L𝓰eague games for Villa, a🦩nd looks as though he’s been playing within himself of late.

“He is adapting in the Pr𓄧emier League which is difficult. I don’t know if it’s more difficult t🌳han in Germany, but it is difficult.

“He is in the process and with this process I am happy. The most important thing for me is is the commitment and behaviour everyday𝄹. He is always with his 🥀teammates practising and trying to improve.”

Aston Villa ace Moussa Diaby will get back to his best – TBR View

It’s just one of those things isn’t it? In the past two seasons, we’ve seen countless world-class players suffer downturns in form, some of 𝐆which have lasted for months.

There have been cases of general fatigue due to workload, carrying long-term injuries (such as Tottenham’s Richarlison, now in amazing form after groin surgery), or even just needing a bit more time to adapt (such as Liverp𝄹ool’s Darwin Nunez).

Diaby is a world-class player whose 🔯talents we’ve all seen. Just because he’s in a bit of a downturn in form doesn’t mean it’ll always be the case. He’ll get all the support he needs at Bodymoor Heat🌌h and hopefully it won’t be long before he’s back to his best.
