Journalist Ben Jacobs has suggested one Aston Villa transfer target has now spoken with Unai Emery in the last 24 hours and is very excited about the prospect of a move this summer.
🐟Aston Villa are certainly not wasting time getting stuck into the transfer market after what was such an incredible campaign, in which the Villans qualified for the Champions League.
It does appear that Villa are preparing to lose two players, with Chelsea eyeing Jhon Duran🍬 and Juventus working on a move for Douglas Luiz.
But the talks with Juve could see Villa make a couple of signings themselves as part of the deal, 🐓with Unai Emery’s men interested in Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior.

𓂃McKennie would be an intriguing signing, particularly given that his only previous spell in the Premier League was a pretty poor loan stint at Leeds as the Whites were relegated from the Premier League.
🍷But the midfielder subsequently made himself an important component for Juventus again upon his return to Turin.
⛄And it seems that Emery is pushing hard to welcome the USMNT star into his ranks, with that the Villa boss has now made contact with the 25-year-old.
“From what I am told he has had a direct conversation with Unai Emery💖 in the last 24 hours and if the deal comes off he would be very excited to play under Unai Emery but also play Champions League football,” he said.

ওMcKennie is an intriguing signing for Villa given that he has arguably not yet realised the potential he seemed to be showing when he was coming through at Schalke.
ꦫThis past season was only the second time he has ever made more than 30 league appearances in a single campaign, and it was not a year that Juve fans will want to remember for too long.
🐎But Emery seems to have got so little wrong during his time with Villa, rapidly taking them from the periphery of a relegation battle and into the top four.
