Tyler Roberts and Liam Cooper reply to ex-Leeds teammate Ben White’s Instagram post
Tyler Roberts and Liam Cooper are amongst those to have congratulated Ben White on Instagram after their former Leeds United teammate put an end to talk about his future by signing a new contract at Brighton and Hove Albion.
that the centre-back has signed a new four-year deal with the club.
The announcement had seemed on the cards for a while, so it will not have come as a particular shock to Leeds fans. But they may still be disappointed about the news.
White was outstanding during his loan spell at Elland Road last season. And his form prompted the Whites to make a number of bids for the 22-year-old.
, Leeds’s third and final bid for White was worth £25 million. However, Brighton snubbed all of their offers and have now managed to agree fresh terms with the defender.
White has since taken to Instagram to express his delight at resolving his future.
And in response, a number of the current Leeds squad have reached out with messages of congratulations.
Cooper and Roberts were joined by the likes of Barry Douglas, Leif Davis and Olly Casey in replying to his post.
