Tyler Dibling transfer update revealed as Tottenham and Man United discover their chances of signing him now
TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Southampton have ruled out the prospect of selling Tyler Dibling this month.
TBR Football confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United scouted Dibling in September, who has gone on to become one of the breakout stars in the Premier League this season.
Despite Southampton languishing in 20th place in the league, Dibling has been tipped for stardom as he has dazzled with his mazy dribbling and balletic balance in the English top-flight this campaign.

But it seems like the Englishman is set to spend six more months at the St. Mary’s Stadium.

Tyler Dibling set for Southampton stay amid Tottenham and Man United interest
TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that despite Tyler Dibling refusing to sign a contract extension beyond 2027 at Southampton, the Saints have decided that they will not sell him this January.
Newcastle and RB Leipzig were keen on Dibling’s signature, alongside clubs like Tottenham and Manchester United.
While Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer Jurgen Klopp is also hugely interested in the Southampton winger’s signature and wished to secure his services ahead of the Premier League clubs by signing him this month itself.
Former Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth liked Dibling, even though no approaches were made to sign him.
After Spurs’ 6-0 mauling of Southampton, Tottenham captain Heung-min Son spoke to Dibling after the contest as well.
But Tottenham, Manchester United, Newcastle and RB Leipzig might have to wait until the summer to make their move the 18-year-old.
Dibling will have plenty of time to ponder about his next move as the youngster’s latest ankle injury has sidelined him for four to six weeks.
Southampton boss Ivan Juric revealed his stance on the sought-after teenager’s future.
Ivan Juric wants Tyler Dibling to stay at Southampton in January
Ivan Juric discussed Dibling’s future at Southampton after his side beat Swansea City 3-0 in the FA Cup.
Initially, Juric revealed why he played the wonderkid as a striker, saying: I think in this moment, he’s better when he plays more forward because he doesn’t have to do too much defensive work.”
“He’s ready to score, to go one against one. For now, it’s okay for him.”
Ivan Juric went on to reveal how he would respond to Premier League clubs who are interested in signing Dibling.
“No, I think that we have some good players and good players have to stay here.”
Juric went on to claim that it is best for Dibling to stay at his boyhood club this month.
“Absolutely.”
“Because I think he needs to play to get better, to improve and I think for him it’s best to stay here, of course.”
As Dibling’s decision to reject a contract extension suggests he would like to leave Southampton, it’s safe to say that whichever clubs signs him will consider themselves fortunate.
For the time being, the Saints dribbler could potentially miss important Premier League fixtures against Newcastle, Ipswich, AFC Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea and Liverpool.
