‘Turning into a baller’, ‘next up’: Some Arsenal fans wowed by 18-year-old winger’s latest display

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise Kido Taylor-Hart’s performance for the Gunners Under-18s in today’s FA Youth Cup victory.

The 18-year-old winger, a boyhood Arsenal fan, joined the Gunners aged seven and has worked his way up the ranks to become one of the brightest youngsters at Hale End.

Taylor-Hart has been a cut above for the U18s this season, registering six goals and four assists in just nine U18 Premier League games.

He has also featured regularly for the Under-23s, making 10 Premier League 2 appearances and scoring twice.

On Saturday, Taylor-Hart featured for the U18s in their FA Youth Cup meeting with Blackburn’s U18s, a superb 4-0 win for the Gunners.

Khayon Edwards opened the scoring for Ken Gillard’s charges in the ninth minute, before Taylor-Hart doubled the visitors’ lead on 33 minutes.

Miguel Azeez made it three with a superb long-range effort just before half time, and Brooke Norton-Cuffy rounded off the scoring late on.

While Azeez got plenty of attention for his wonderstrike, quite a few Arsenal fans were eager to praise Taylor-Hart as well.
