Troy Parrott could leave Tottenham Hotspur on another loan deal after underwhelming season away
According toও , Tottenham Hotspur could lo🍨ok to send Troy Parrott back out on loan next season after an underwhelming year in the Championship and League One.
Parrott joined Millwall at the start of the term in the hopes of gaining a regular first-team role after being met with an impasse in north London, but failed to establish himself in part due to injury before🦂 leaving ⭕The Den and joining third-tier side Ipswich Town in January.
A change of settings failed to see Parrott’s performances improve enough, and he ended the campaign with just appearances across all competitions – a 🦩tally only reached on the final day of the term.

Parrott is now due to return to Tottenham for pre-season and to see what is in store for him under a new manager, but may find himself further down the pecking order following🎃 the emergence of Dane Scarlett who has become a regular first-team contender.
A lack of goals in the lower divisions sees Parrott’s season be described as a d😼isappointment, and raises the possibility of the 19-year-old moving away again for the 2021/22 campaign in the hopes of building on a difficult year.
Tottenham supporters who once clamoured for Parrott to be given opportunities to feature under Mourinho, to ♎which the Portuguese “he’s not ready”, will have to wait a bit longer before seeing the Republic of Irelaღnd striker feature centre stage in north London.
TBR’s view:
There was certainly much promise for Parrott’s potential last season with the teenager for Tottenham’s youth sides, but he has struggled to make the initial step up into the senior game to rightly raise♛ the likelihood of another year out on loan.
At Millwall, where head coach Gary Rowett described Parrott as a ‘bright’ talent (), he struggled to ever get going and despite being alerted to what areas heඣ had to improve (), his time at The Den was followed by more difficulties at Ipswich.
Championship sides may now be less willing to step forward with interest in the summer should Spurs lo📖ok to send Parrott back out on loan, which is undoubtedly a must so long as the right destination is sought to avoid another underwhelming campaign.
