Troy Deeney names the two players he thinks are holding a candle to Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is at the very top of his game right now.
The 27-year-old has started 2020/21 with a bang, contributing 10 goals and nine assists in just 10 matches in all competitions.

The star has always had a very good all-round game, but this term he’s taken his creativity and d link-up play to another level, with Heung-min Son a huge beneficiary in particular.
The South Korean is proving to be the perfect foil for Kane, who is the top striker in the Premier League according to new talkSPORT pundit Troy Deeney.
The Watford captain was ranking his top five strikers in the division this morning, and on Kane : “I think he’s the best number nine that’s about in the Premier League at the moment. You could argue in world football – [Robert] Lewandowski and [Karim] Benzema could probably give him a run for his money.”
High praise indeed for Kane to be put in the same bracket as Benzema and especially Lewandowski.
The Polish superstar, like Kane, already has 10 goals this term having hit a staggering 55 in 2019/20.

While Benzema became reborn last season at Real Madrid, scoring 27 in all competitions.
TBR’s View – Lewandowski the gold standard
While Benzema is a fantastic player, Lewandowski’s level is what Kane needs to strive to reach. He is absolutely not far off it at all a this point.
It would take a very bold person to say that Lewandowski isn’t currently the best number nine in world football, but if Kane continues in this fashion he might just overtake the 32-year-old whose age may soon start to count against him.
